Biography:Biography Julia Davies grew up in Crosby, Merseyside, where she helped her father fight the seat that was later won by Shirley Williams. After taking her degree at London university, she taught English at a comprehensive school in South Wales and married David Davies in 1978. Her two children were born in Hertfordshire, where she now teaches at a mixed comprehenseive in Enfield. Education: Merchant Taylors School, University of London Parliamentary experience: Broxbourne 1992, 1997, 2001 Occupation: English teacher Interests: Theatre, Trustee of Hodden Educational Charity Memberships: Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, CPRE, NASUWT
