Campaigning for Stevenage

Graham Snell successfully re-elected in Manor.

9.28.00am BST (GMT +0100) Thu 8th May 2008

Graham Snell

After a tough campaign Graham Snell was successfully re-elected councillor in Manor with a majority of nearly 200. Result was as follows,

Graham Snell 805

Susan Smith 609

Joseph Sherry 458

Carol Knowles 101

Turnout 41.3

Unfortunately in Chells Gareth Steiner lost out to the Labour candidate. Gareth, who was ably assisted by retiring councillor Len Lambert, was defeated by the big Labour Party machine. They flooded the ward to get their desired result. However by doing this they took a battering in other parts of the town. A big thank you to Gareth.
